A Message from the Heart
Dear Friends, On June 25, 2026, Columbus Relief received notice from our landlord exercising the provision in our lease to move forward with the purchase of the property. That notice started a 120-day window for us to act on the opportunity to purchase the building. We want our supporters to understand something important: We are not facing an immediate loss of our building. Our ability to continue serving from this location is secure for approximately another 3–5 years. What we could lose is the opportunity to OWN it. If we do not move forward within the 120-day purchase window, we can continue operating from this location under our lease, but this opportunity to purchase the property under the current agreement will be lost. That is the urgency behind this campaign. We aren't asking our community to help us avoid losing our home tomorrow. We are asking our community to help us secure that home for the future.
